Your cover letter should augment your resume, describing what additional skills you bring to the position beyond the trumpet. This might include skills in arranging, audio mixing/engineering, other instrument/vocal proficiencies, computer skills (graphics/video editing/Microsoft Office/other), etc.
Performing bugle calls, meal formations, parades, funerals, and public concerts in the USMA Band’s Field Music Group. Please visit the West Point Band website for a full job description. The hired candidate will be required to march in ceremonial formation and/or stand for 60 minutes while carrying 35lbs of equipment 2 or more miles.
